Cooked Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. flour
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook milk and flour until thickened.
Stir frequently.
Remove from heat and pour into small bowl.
Refrigerate until cold.
When chilled thoroughly, transfer to larger bowl and add butter, Crisco and sugar.
Beat until fluffy, about 5 minutes.
Add vanilla and beat well.
Spread on favorite cake.
