Kick-The-Can Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    crushed ice
    3/4 c. salt or rock salt
    3/4 c. whole milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. cream
    1/3 c. sugar
    flavoring (any: chocolate, raspberry sauce, etc.)
Preparation
    Note:
    Need 1 (1 pound) and 1 (3 pound) coffee cans with lids.
