Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 c. fresh blueberries
Preparation
    Cream shortening, add sugar, and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at at time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and ending with flour mixture.
    Fold in blueberries.
    Grease muffin pans.
    Pour mixture into muffin pans 2/3 full.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    (Batter may be stored in refrigerator up to 2 weeks before baking.)
