Creamy Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 medium Spanish onion
    1 Tbsp. unbleached flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    some finely chopped parsley
    some croutons
    1 c. half and half
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Into cup, pour boiling water over bouillon cube, stir and reserve.
    Thinly slice onion.
    Melt butter in 1-quart saucepan; stir in onion.
    Cover and cook until transparent and yellowed, 10 minutes or so.
    Stir in flour.
    Add the reserved bouillon, half and half, salt and Worcestershire sauce.
    Stir well.
    Heat, stirring several times to serving temperature.
    Sprinkle with parsley.
    Pass the croutons.
    Serves 2.
