Light-As-Feather Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. soft shortening
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. Softasilk flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease bottom of muffin cups.
    Mix sugar and shortening; blend in egg.
    Measure flour.
    Blend dry ingredients.
    Stir in alternately with milk.
    Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake for 20 to 23 minutes.
    Serve hot.
