Hummingbird Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. salad oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 (8 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
2 c. chopped banana
Cream Cheese Frosting
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Add beaten eggs and oil; stir until moistened using spoon.
Do not beat.
Stir in vanilla, undrained pineapple, 1 cup of pecans or walnuts, and all the bananas.
Spoon into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool in pans 15 minutes, remove and cool completely.
Spread frosting (recipe follows) between layers and on top, sprinkling each layer with remaining nuts.
