Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. meal
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 c. onion
buttermilk
1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 can corn

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together, adding enough buttermilk to form soft dough.
Drop into hot oil with spoon and cook until Hush Puppies float to top.
