Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    6 saltines
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients (except butter). Cook until onion and bell pepper are done. Crumble in the saltine crackers. Add about 3 tablespoons of butter. This is cooked in a saucepan.
