Ingredients

2 very large or 3 small oranges
1 lemon
sugar
water
Preparation

Wash fruit and chip off pieces.
Measure and add 3 times as much water as fruit and let stand overnight.
Boil gently 45 minutes.
Again, measure.
Add equal amount of sugar while hot and let stand overnight.
Next day, simmer gently until thickness desired.
Put in sterilized jars.
