Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    2 chopped onions
    1 chopped red pepper
    3/4 c. rice
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Dice bacon and cook until crisp.
    Remove from pan and cook onions and green pepper in pan.
    Add rice and saute for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, water, salt, chili powder and pepper.
    Cover and simmer over low heat, approximately one hour.
    Add bacon and cook together.
