English Peas Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    4 c. frozen English peas
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup (undiluted)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chow mein noodles
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    Add onion and celery.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until tender.
    Stir in peas and next 4 ingredients.
    Spoon into a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Sprinkle with noodles.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
