Lipton Beef Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    1/4 c. tomato paste
    2 c. water
Preparation
    In Dutch oven, heat shortening; brown meat well.
    Stir in onion soup mix, tomato paste and water.
    Simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender, adding more water if needed. Serve over rice or noodles.
