Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. cardamon
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 slightly beaten egg whites
    1/2 c. finely snipped dried apricots
Preparation
    Stir together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and cardamon; set aside.
    Stir together the applesauce, orange juice, oil and egg whites until combined.
    Add to dry ingredients, stirring until combined.
    Stir in apricots.
    Spread in ungreased pan (11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool in pan.
    Cut into bars.
    Makes 24 bars.
