Milkless, Eggless And Butterless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. lard or oil
    2 c. strong coffee
    2 c. raisins
    1 apple, peeled and grated
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    In large saucepan, boil first 5 ingredients for 3 minutes.
    Set aside to cool for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Blend remaining ingredients together and add to liquid part.
    Pour into well-greased and floured pan.
    May use Bundt or 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Check with toothpick.
