Chicken Paprikash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic
    3 Tbsp. paprika
    1 small hot pepper
    salt and pepper
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in butter or oil.
    Add chicken and brown a little.
    Add paprika, hot pepper, salt and pepper.
    Cover with water.
    Simmer slowly until fork-tender, about 1 hour.
    Cook until thick.
    Add sour cream.
    Remove from fire.
    Put chicken back in gravy.
    Serve with noodles or rice.
