Cold Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    1 can Shoe Peg corn
    1 small can French-cut green beans
    1 small can peas
    2 bunches scallions
Preparation
    Mix oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper over heat.
    Bring to boil until sugar is melted clear.
    Set aside.
    Mix all vegetables together in big bowl.
    Pour liquid over vegetables.
    Put in refrigerator for 1 hour or longer.
    Serve cold.
