Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1/3 c. molasses
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 (1 lb. 5 oz.) cans baked beans
    1 lb. bacon
    1 c. barbecue sauce
Preparation
    Place bacon strips on broiler pan.
    Broil 3 to 5 minutes per side.
    Watch closely.
    Remove from broiler and place on paper towel to drain off excess fat.
    Cover a 2-quart casserole with cooking spray; set aside.
    In large bowl, combine molasses, brown sugar and barbecue sauce.
    Mix well.
    Add beans and stir gently to blend.
    Place several strips of bacon on bottom of casserole. Spoon beans in casserole to cover bacon strips.
    Add bacon to cover beans.
    Repeat process until all the beans and bacon have been used.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
