Durgin Park'S Indian Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter
    2/3 c. molasses
    3 Tbsp. honey
    2/3 c. cornmeal
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Heat 3 cups milk.
    Stir in butter, molasses and honey.
    Mix cornmeal and spices and stir gradually into warm milk mixture, using a wire whisk to avoid lumps.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, about 10 minutes, or until thick.
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Put pudding in an oiled ovenproof casserole.
    Pour 1 cup milk over it.
    Do not stir.
    Bake for 3 hours.
