Menudo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. beef tripe
    3 lb. pigs feet
    1 Tbsp. salt
    4 cloves garlic
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped cilantro
    6 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can white hominy
    lemon wedges
    2 c. chopped onion
    extra finely chopped cilantro
Preparation
    Cut tripe into small pieces.
    Cut pigs feet in 2-inch pieces if they have not been sliced through the middle by the butcher. Put meat in a large pan with about 1 gallon of water and simmer together with salt, garlic and cilantro for about 4 hours or until tripe and pigs feet are tender.
