Sally Lunn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 c. fat
    1 or 2 yeast cakes
    3 beaten eggs
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    6 c. fine flour
Preparation
    Scald milk and add fat.
    When fat melts, cool to touch. Crumble in yeast; add beaten eggs, sugar and salt.
    Mix well and stir in flour.
    Beat thoroughly.
    Cover and let rise in a warm place until double in size.
    Punch down; spoon into greased 9-inch ring mold or pan and let double in size again.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
