Green Pepper Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. water
3 medium green peppers, seeded
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/3 c. potato flakes
1/4 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 lb. pork sausage, cooked and drained
1 medium tomato, cut in wedges
1 c. Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Boil 2 quarts water.
Cook peppers for 15 minutes.
Drain and arrange in pie plate.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
In saucepan, combine onion, 1 cup water and margarine.
Bring to boil.
Remove from heat and add potato flakes, milk and egg.
Mix together.
Stir in cooked sausage to mixture.
Spoon into green peppers.
Put tomato wedges on top.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
