Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix the ingredients thoroughly and pour the mixture into an uncooked pie shell.
    Bake the pie at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until the custard is firm. Serve with whipped cream or plum jam.
