Grandma'S Sweet Potato Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
2/3 c. water
3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. vegetable oil
3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans or golden raisins (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease bottom only of 2 to 3 loaf pans. Mix potatoes, eggs and oil.
Combine dry ingredients and stir in potato mixture, alternately with water.
Add nuts or raisins if desired.
Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans for 15 minutes.
Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
Cool completely before serving.
