Crunchy Brunch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) Parkay margarine
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 (10 oz.) can refrigerated biscuits
    1/3 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Grease cake pan with shortening. Melt margarine in saucepan. Remove from heat and let cool. Combine sugar and cinnamon in bowl. Add nuts to sugar-cinnamon mixture if you wish. Mix until well blended. Using your fingers, dip both sides of biscuits into margarine, then dip both sides into sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place biscuits in pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove biscuits from pan with spatula; serve warm.
