Pasta With Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 3/4 lb. fresh scallops
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    4 c. canned tomatoes
    3/4 c. onion (raw)
    1 to 2 cloves garlic
    2 Tbsp. white wine
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 bay leaf
    3 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
    12 oz. fresh pasta (fettucini, uncooked)
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
Preparation
    Poach scallops in lemon water, about 3 minutes.
    Set aside.
