Ethiopian Snack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. soft winter wheat grains
    1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
    dash of cayenne pepper
    1/2 c. salted, blanched peanuts
Preparation
    Soak wheat overnight in hot water to cover.
    Drain.
    Place in heavy pan and add salt and cayenne pepper.
    Roast, stirring constantly, over medium-high heat in a large, heavy pan until golden brown (about 15 to 20 minutes).
    Add peanuts and roast about 5 more minutes.
    Let cool; store in airtight container.
