Cherry-Cheese Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. cream cheese
1/3 c. confectioners sugar
1 egg, separated
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 pkg. crescent rolls
1 c. cherry pie filling
Preparation

Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla until smooth. Arrange rolls in circle forming pizza-like crust.
Press edges together.
Reserve two triangles.
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over dough.
Top with pie filling.
Press \"perf\" on reserved dough and cut into 4 strips.
Twist each strip and place on dough like wheel spokes attaching at edges.
Brush with egg white.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
