Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. melted butter
    16 oz. caramels
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Mix cake mix, 1/2 cup evaporated milk and butter.
    Put 1/2 of mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan, greased and floured.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk; pour over cake.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel.
    Add pecans on top of chips.
    Add 1/4 cup evaporated milk to the rest of cake mix batter.
    Spread batter over caramel mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
