Nutmeg Pound Cake - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 lb. unsalted butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. powdered sugar
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Butter and flour a 12-cup Bundt pan. Combine flour, soda, nutmeg, salt and baking powder.
With an electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Add vanilla.
On low speed, gradually beat in flour mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
Spread in pan.
Bake until toothpick comes out clean, about 45 minutes.
Put powdered sugar in a sieve and sprinkle over cooled cake.
