Easy Pork Chop Bake - cooking recipe

4 to 6 center cut pork chops
4 to 6 large Idaho potatoes
4 coin sliced carrots
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 stick margarine or butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

In a 2 to 3-quart casserole dish, slice and evenly space 1 stick of margarine or butter.
Peel, then thinly slice potatoes and layer over the bottom of dish.
Spread carrot coins over potatoes. Place browned pork chops over carrots.
Prepare onion soup packet with water as directed, then pour over pork chops.
Add salt and pepper.
Cover with foil; bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour, or until liquid is absorbed.
