Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. apple cider
    2 c. sugar
    48 cloves (whole)
    12 sticks cinnamon
    4 tsp. whole allspice
    6 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. orange juice
    4 c. apple brandy (optional)
Preparation
    Bring all ingredients to a boil, except brandy.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Add brandy and strain mixture.
    Serve warm.
    May use tea or more apple cider in place of brandy.
