Slow Cooked Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef round steak, cut into strips (may use cubed steak)
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 garlic, minced
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1 c. onion
    4 tomatoes, chopped, or 1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes and liquid
    2 large green peppers
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Saute steak in a little oil and put into a slow cooker.
    Mix together soy sauce, minced garlic, sugar, salt, pepper and ground ginger and pour over meat in slow cooker.
    Add onion, tomatoes and green pepper to slow cooker.
    Cook on low for one hour.
    Stir in water mixed with cornstarch.
    Cook on high until thickened.
    Serve over noodles or rice.
