Ed'S Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo
    1/2 c. water
    1 stick Parkay margarine
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 heaping tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, Karo and water until the syrup threads.
    Add peanuts and margarine to syrup and cook long enough for the peanuts to be slightly roasted.
    The candy will be darker than the syrup.
    Remove from fire and immediately add soda; beat well and pour into a buttered cooking sheet.
    Makes 2 pounds.
