Fondant Nut Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. granulated sugar
    2 c. white Karo
    3 c. nuts, ground
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Mix sugar, Karo and water and stir until sugar is dissolved; cook to soft ball stage.
    Beat until too stiff to beat; pour immediately over nuts and work nuts into candy.
    When cool, form into roll.
    Slice.
