Raisin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. raisins
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. cream
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Put sugar, raisins and water on stove to boil.
    Then mix cream, cornstarch and beaten egg yolks.
    Add to boiling mixture; cook until thick.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Add meringue and brown.
