Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
2 oz. red food coloring
2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Cream together sugar, Crisco and eggs.
Make a paste of cocoa and red food coloring.
Add to mixture.
Next add flour, buttermilk and vanilla, beat until smooth.
Fold in vinegar and bake in 3 layers in 350\u00b0 oven.
