Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 6 thinly sliced apples
2 1/2 c. + 5 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
1 c. oil
4 unbeaten eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix apples, 5 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon together and set aside.
Beat remaining ingredients together until smooth.
Put into a greased and floured tube pan, layering batter then apples and ending with apples on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 3/4 hours.
You can substitute fresh peaches for apples if desired.
