Asparagus Casserole (Great For Easter) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. unbleached white flour
    1 c. milk
    4 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
    1 1/2 c. cooked asparagus, cut slant-wise into 1-inch pieces)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter; blend in flour and gradually stir in milk.
    Bring to boil, stirring until mixture thickens.
    Fold in eggs, asparagus, salt and pepper.
    Pour into buttered baking dish; sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake for 15 minutes.
    Yields 4 side servings or 2 main dish servings.
