Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
2 c. buttermilk
2 (3 oz.) or 1 (6 oz.) strawberry Jell-O
1 can (20 oz.) sweetened crushed pineapple
1/2 c. crushed nuts
Preparation

Mix pineapple and Jell-O in pan.
Over medium heat let come to a bubbling stage.
Take off stove.
Let cool good.
Mix buttermilk and Cool Whip good, until thickens some.
Add pineapple mixture and nuts to Cool Whip mixture.
Put in refrigerator to cool or congeal.
Makes a big bowl.
Can be cut in squares if you desired. Can use pineapple, unsweetened, if you like.
