Pasta Fagoili(Italian Macaroni And Bean Soup) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. olive oil
garlic powder
2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 large can cannellini beans
1 c. cooked elbow macaroni
Preparation

Put oil in 1-quart saucepan.
Add enough garlic powder to generously cover oil.
Heat on low until you can smell the garlic, watching not to burn garlic.
Take off heat and add tomato sauce, both cans filled with water, salt, basil, oregano and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
Add undrained beans and mix well.
Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
Sauce may now be refrigerated.
When ready to eat, heat and mix with cooked macaroni.
Best if sauce is refrigerated at least one day.
