Shrimp Gerlu - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 lb. medium or large shrimp, cleaned
    1/2 lb. bacon, cut into 2-inch strips
    1 c. sweet and sour sauce
    1 onion, sliced thin
Preparation
    Melt butter in baking pan.
    Soften onion in pan in broiler for about 5 minutes.
    Do not brown.
    Place shrimp in single layer over onions.
    Put one piece of bacon on each shrimp.
    Put one teaspoon sweet and sour sauce on each shrimp and bacon.
    Broil until bacon is crisp and shrimp is pink, only about 10 minutes.
    Great appetizer or main course.
