Cream Of Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shallots
    1/2 c. onion
    1/2 tsp. tarragon
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. dill
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. minced garlic
    1 (28 oz.) can Italian plum tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can chicken broth
    1 c. whipping cream
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute shallots and onion.
    Add tarragon, allspice, dill, bay leaf, garlic, tomatoes and chicken broth.
    Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Strain and puree vegetables.
    Return mixture to pot and add whipping cream, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and serve.
