Old Fashioned Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 unbaked pastry shells (9-inch)
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 1/2 c. whole milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    1 stick butter
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix together sugar and flour.
    Add cream, milk, vanilla and salt.
    Blend with mixer and pour into pastry shells.
    Melt butter and dribble over top.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake 10 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Reduce to 350\u00b0 and bake 50 minutes.
