Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 c. Minute rice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    3/4 c. catsup
    2 slices bread, buttered and crumbled
    1/2 tsp. chili powder (optional)
Preparation
    Prepare rice according to directions on package.
    Brown meat, green pepper, onion and rice in skillet.
    Add salt, black pepper and catsup.
    Mix well.
    Pour into buttered casserole dish.
    Cover with bread crumbs.
    Brown in 400\u00b0 oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
