Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 green peppers, chopped
    1 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 can tomatoes
    1 c. macaroni or uncooked rice
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in Crisco.
    Brown ground beef in mixture.
    Add tomatoes, rice or macaroni.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Mix.
    Place in covered casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Macaroni takes a little longer.
