Oven Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. microwave popcorn
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. peanuts
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda (cola, root beer)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 200\u00b0.
    Melt butter, sugar, corn syrup and salt on high on stove until bubbly around edges.
    Lower temperature to medium and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat and add peanuts and soda.
    Pour over popped corn and mix well.
    Pour the mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
