Butter Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1/4 c. sliced green onion
    3 (16 oz.) cans butter beans
    2 c. milk
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, cook the sausage and onion until sausage is done. Drain off fat. To sausage, add undrained beans, milk, soup, salt, thyme and pepper.
    Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Top with more sliced green onions, if desired.
    Makes 6 servings.
