Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. tomatoes (ripe)
    1/2 bunch celery, diced
    3 large onions
    4 green bell peppers
    1 qt. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/3 box pickling spice
Preparation
    Cook and drain part of juice of tomatoes.
    Cook celery, onions and bell peppers with tomatoes for 1 1/2 hours, stirring often. Dissolve in vinegar.
    Pour over tomatoes, etc. and cook another 1 1/2 hours, until thick.
    Cool and put in sterilized jars.
