Date Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 c. chopped dates
    lump of butter
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cook sugar and milk to soft ball stage.
    Add dates and cook 4 minutes longer.
    Remove from stove and add nuts and butter.
    Beat until creamy.
    Then roll out on a damp cloth and wrap in a roll. Slice when ready to serve.
