Mississippi Grilled Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
    4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1 c. tomato sauce
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 tsp. hot red pepper, crushed
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 lb. jumbo shrimp, peeled, deveined and butterflied
Preparation
    Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat.
    Add garlic; cook until softened, 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add tomato sauce, brown sugar, crushed red pepper and lemon juice.
    Bring to simmer, stirring to dissolve sugar.
    Remove from heat.
    Place shrimp on hot barbecue grill rack; cook for 5 minutes, turning once and basting well with the sauce while cooking.
    Drizzle any remaining sauce over shrimp to serve.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
